Emerson Ferrell

Emerson Ferrell was born December 12th of 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from South Florida University in 1971 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and taught in several schools from 1972 through the early 1980's.

Emerson accepted Christ as the Son of God growing up, but had not surrendered his life completely until he saw the spiritual world and the reality of life after physical death. His life changed dramatically after a visitation from the Lord and it was during this time he decided to do what was necessary to fulfill his destiny. After leaving everything behind and spending intimate time with the Lord, he read the Bible from cover to cover several times and allowed the Holy Spirit to teach him. That process changed his life and the experiences were not well received among his peers and church friends. This resulted in his being ostracized by friends, family and employers. Nevertheless, his decision to follow Christ increased the levels of spiritual growth and angelic visitations. In 2002, Ana Mendez and Emerson were married and together formed Voice of The Light Ministries.

Emerson's ministry is formed from years of discipline and intimacy with the Holy Spirit. He operates in spiritual authority from years of fasting forty and fifty days alone with the Lord. It has been during those times of separation, which has contributed the most to his understanding of Christ and His Kingdom.

In 2006, Emerson obtained a Masters in Theology and Pastoral Ministration from The Latin University of Theology in California. He currently ministers with his wife internationally and together they train thousands of people on the reality of the spiritual realm. Emerson is foremost a worshiper as well as an author and artist. As a prophet, the Lord is using him to advance God's Kingdom throughout the world.

Dr. Ana Méndez Ferrell

Ana Méndez Ferrell, originally from Mexico, now resides in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband Emerson Ferrell. They have altogether a daughter and 2 sons: Ana, Pedro and Jordan.

She was saved in 1985 while she was confined in a mental hospital. The miraculous power of God completely delivered her and transformed her into one of His generals to lead His army to destroy the works of evil. An ordained prophet and apostle, Ana Méndez Ferrell ministers in more than 60 nations, training the army of God to tear down the strongholds of evil and usher in the glory of God.

Her ministry is known by a deep understanding on the spiritual realm, both in the Kingdom of God and that of darkness. Her prophetic insight, and the manifestations of heaven in her meetings bring radical transformation to people and cities. Ana is a reformer and a fore-runner opening new territories of revelation and bringing the Church to higher levels of authority and spiritual knowledge. She has been a pioneer in many areas such as Prophetic Worship, joining heaven and earth together bringing people to hear what heaven is signing. In Prophetic Art, painting the visions the Lord gives her to establish them on earth so they can become alive and powerful in people's lives and environments. The revelation God has given her in deliverance from captivity and from iniquity is causing a revolution of freedom in thousands of people.

Through Voice of the Light Ministries, Ana also holds conferences throughout the world. She is under the covering of Dr. Rony Chaves from Costa Rica, with whom she is also an associate minister and conference speaker. Also. Ana is under C. Peter Wagner in the United States and Europe.

As a general in spiritual warfare, Ana has coordinated many of the most important prayer initiatives in the darkest places of the earth, confronting major territorial spirits. The most difficult assault that she and her team undertook was the climbing of Mount Everest in 1997, which resulted in major spiritual breakthroughs in the 10/40 window (the less evangelized region in the world). Ana was also the special task coordinator for operation "Queens Palace," the first worldwide prayer initiative, involving nearly 75 percent of the nations in the world in a war against a dominion of darkness known as the "queen of heaven", the ruler of Babylon.
