HOUSE REVIVALS

The first century Church began in the homes of the early believers.
The church was born prophetic as a result of Pentecost.
The promise of God was all His sons and daughters will prophesy, His youth will have visions and His elders’ dreams.

It is the prophetic manifestation of the Holy Spirit, which allows each individual to grow in the The Spirit.

Persecution and fear in the early century was also an instrument God used for the expansion of the Church in the houses.

Nevertheless, the fruit from those beginnings produced the amazing manifestations of Christ and His Kingdom. The visitations of the Holy Spirit in those settings created prosperity along with the environment of family and unity.

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.  So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Acts 2 43-47                                                       

Today in this country we enjoy the freedom to congregate without the fear of retribution or persecution. Church congregations are larger than ever before but the fruit is sadly lacking compared to the early Church.

We believe God’s people want to experience His presence and share the joy of relationship with like-minded believers outside the traditional structures; society has called “churches.”

You may recall the conversation Jesus had with His disciples in Matthew 16 in which He asked whom people thought He was? Peter responded with revelation from God that identified Jesus as His Son.

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.  Matthew 16:18

We believe the Holy Spirit is the one who builds His Church with His revelation not man’s plans, doctrines and formulas. Does God use the present system from which most of us have come? OF COURSE! The problem is the structure and system is not advancing against hell but being overcome by it. WE believe God has started a transition in many traditional churches to return to the principles began by the early Church.

Therefore, we are gathering in homes to allow a fresh revival from the Holy Spirit to empower each believer with revelations and gifts ordained before the foundation of the world.

House revivals are not the cure for the problems of mankind on this earth. It is simply a means to connect with those who have been disconnected from the plans and will of God by religious systems that have a form of Godliness but deny the power.

Perhaps, the greatest benefit of house revivals is allowing the Holy Spirit to manifest in whatever manner or time He desires. The greatest challenge is fighting the urge to reproduce the structure and system most of us learned for so many years.

The excitement we share in learning the ways of God is demonstrated each time we gather to receive a fresh revelation of Christ and His kingdom.

This is a work in progress the same way our lives in Christ are to be. We teach the basic principals of Christ to the new believers but we have found the practicality of daily life offers the best model for Christianity. God loves families because He is generational and if we can change this generation with the presence of God in the homes the next generations will advance even farther.
